  1. Data collection: Official docs, fee schedules, regulator registers.
  2. Hands-on testing: Live or demo account to verify features & UX.
  3. Benchmarking: Peer comparison within the same category.
  4. Scoring: Weighted criteria (see below) to produce a 0–5★ rating.
  5. Editorial review: Secondary fact-check for accuracy & clarity.
  6. Update cycle: Re-evaluated at least every 6 months or on major changes.
